Free balloons

| This is a free balloon to be used for ghosts with (nearly) equal sized 'Sakura' and 'Kero'.
Details Nearly same size as SSP's default balloon (plus 9 pixel for pointer at bottom side) Same shape as SSP's default balloon Same text area as SSP's default balloon Sakura balloon part positioning: windowposition.x,200 (best value would be width of surface0 minus some pixel for distance to right border of desktop, but there are a lot of ghosts, so here its 200, which will work with most of ghosts) windowposition.y,-178 Kero balloon part positioning: windowposition.x,0 windowposition.y,73 (Here, Kero's balloon is near bottom of desktop because of shell settings of ghost!) If there are two (nearly) same sized characters, trouble with balloons starts: where shall be the balloon's positions? One solution is to shift the characters to middle of the desktop, maybe with space between them. You don't know how do do this or don't like it? OK, characters shall stay nearby each other in right corner of desktop? There are three ways: Well, will only work fine with large characters (more as 400pixel high). Problem maybe: who is speaking? Other way is to place Sakura's balloon above character, which looks odd because pointer shows to right side - not down. Also you can place both balloons above both characters with smaller but higher shape. Maybe talk is not good to read. * Fourth way: I made some balloons with Sakura's balloon pointers showing downwards and different colors for both characters. All are free balloons you can use, (maybe change) or built into your ghost's release if you want. ;) |
These balloon's colors are taken from hair color or color of clothes, maybe bleached out colors.
This way it's easy recognizing who is speaking because individually for characters. These colors don't fit your ghost's characters? Change it! Can easily be done with simply using Window's paint program. Yeah! Balloons are only pictures. (Besides settings script for it) It's much more easy as to draw a surface for the shell. You can change corners or shape of pointer or position of pointer even. Please don't change overall shape of balloon or size of balloon if you don't understand the settings! Then, please, if this changed balloon joins your ghost release - change name of balloon... Also, if an unchanged with unchanged name balloon shall be included in your ghost release, really leave it as it is, only change balloon positions in shell/master/descript.txt please. ;) (maybe other authors will use it too - maybe they need other positions) |

In small balloons longer sentences are split into many rows, maybe too many, to be read well. So I think SSP's default balloon is in right shape! Also you don't need to change your line breaks (\n) using the balloons I made. (Btw, if you don't like text scrolling in Kero's balloon - there is a larger one (\b[2]), same size as Sakura's default one.) | |
